HOW TO FIND A LEAK IN YOUR WATER SOFTENER

To determine if your water softener is the source of your leak, follow these steps.

WATER SOFTENERS

1. If you’ve turned off all of the water in your house, and the flow-indicator triangle on your water meter is still moving, turn the bypass lever on your water softener.

2. Check the flow-indicator triangle at the water meter for movement. If the triangle has stopped, the leak is related to your water softener. If the flow-indicator triangle is still moving, the leak is somewhere else and you need to continue the process of elimination.
