The Water Smart Home program promotes
water efficiency to ensure there is water
in the valley for future generations.
The Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) has partnered with the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association (SNHBA) to develop the Water Smart Home program to certify new homes and neighborhoods as water smart.
The Water Smart Home program promotes water efficiency by requiring homes built through the program to include water-smart landscaping and water-efficient appliances.
A Water Smart Home may save as much as 75,000 gallons of water each year compared to homes built a decade ago.
To find a Water Smart Home, contact the builders below to find out more about the homes and neighborhoods they have built as part of the Water Smart Home program.
Home builders interested in participating in the Water Smart Home program should review the program requirements and then fill out a Business Interest Form for more information.
This program is co-sponsored by the Water Conservation Coalition.
Local businesses are creating a community rooted in conservation through the Water Smart Home program. Play
