CALL TO ORDER
1. Approve agenda with the inclusion of tabled and/or reconsidered items, emergency items and/or deletion of items, and approve the minutes of the regular meeting of October 15, 2009.
BUSINESS AGENDA
2. Approve Change Order No. 30 to Contract No. 340A 01 C1, Coyote Spring Valley Well and Moapa Transmission System, and extend the final completion date by 140 calendar days.
3. Award Contract No. 810M 01 C1, Lower Narrows and Homestead Weirs, authorize a change order contingency amount, and authorize the execution of the contract agreement or take other action as appropriate.
4. Approve a subgrant award between the Nevada Department of Agriculture and the Authority to receive American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding for the Riparian Lands Fuels Reduction and Restoration Project.
5. Authorize the General Counsel to file an appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court in Case No. CV-0830008 of the Seventh Judicial Court, Carter-Griffin, Inc., et al. vs. Tracy Taylor, Nevada State Engineer, et al. concerning the Nevada State Engineer’s Ruling Number 5875 regarding the Authority’s Delamar, Dry Lake and Cave Valley water rights.
6.Adopt the Southern Nevada Water System Operating Plan.
7. Make appointments to the Advisory Committee for Groundwater Management in the Las Vegas Valley Groundwater Basin.
8. Receive an update from staff on water resources including, but not limited to, drought conditions in the Colorado River Basin, the results of the implementation of the Authority’s Water Resource and Conservation Plans, activities on the Colorado River, and on the development of in-state water resources.
