Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins has been a resident of Clark County nearly all his life.

A Western High School graduate, he attended Midwestern and Texas Tech Universities, Clark County Community College and the University of Nevada , Las Vegas. Collins also was a PSI graduate, IBEW and part of the Nevada Power Company Apprentice Program.

He and his wife Kathleen have been married for 41 years and have two children, seven grandchildren and are expecting an eighth grandchild in 2009.
