
Chip Maxfield has been a resident of Clark County for more than 45 years. He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Nevada and Utah. He is a State Water Right Surveyor for Nevada. He was a co-owner of Southwest Engineering, a civil engineering firm, for 19 years.
Maxfield serves as chairman of the Kyle Canyon Water District Board of Trustees, Liquor and Gaming Licensing Board, Mount Charleston Fire Protection District and the Clark County Water Reclamation District Board of Trustees. He has been actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America for over 15 years.
Maxfield and his wife, Kathey, have five children.
