Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak celebrated a decade of public service in 2008, closing a chapter as a regent to begin a four-year term as commissioner.

While a member of the Nevada Board of Regents, Sisolak chaired the Audit Committee and was a member of the Investment, Health Sciences System and Research & Economic Development committees.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1974, and four years later received his master's in Business Administration from UNLV. He is a partner in two companies, American Distributing and Associated Industries.
