Charles K. Hauser
General Counsel
Charles K. Hauser (Chuck) serves as General Counsel for the Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD).
Hauser, who has served in this capacity for more than 15 years, oversees the organizations’ legal team and provides legal advice to the SNWA and LVVWD boards of directors. Previously, he was a Chief Deputy District Attorney, civil division, for Clark County, where he provided counsel to the Board of Clark County Commissioners and represented several county agencies.
A member of both the Nevada and California state bars, Hauser graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and also earned a degree in business administration and real estate from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.
Hauser remains active with the State Bar of Nevada and has served as chairman of the organization’s Public Lawyer section. He and his wife, Stephanie, have two grown children.
