These conservation measures apply only to schools, parks and government facilities with more than five acres of grass.

These facilities are subject to surcharges and required to abide by mandatory watering restrictions.

Facility staff must conduct a self-assessment of water conservation potential and implement a plan to maximize outdoor water use efficiency. Facility staff also is required to submit a report of water-use reductions.
