This sample design is based on a typical 1,500 square foot yard, which can easily be adapted to the unique dimensions of your landscape. If applying for the Water Smart Landscapes rebate, this design will result in a canopy coverage of about 63 percent at maturity. Only 50 percent canopy coverage is required to qualify for the rebate.
