Pool Friendly Back Yard

This sample design is based on a typical 1,500 square foot yard, which can easily be adapted to the unique dimensions of your landscape. If applying for the Water Smart Landscapes rebate, this design will result in a canopy coverage of about 245 percent at maturity. Only 50 percent canopy coverage is required to qualify for the rebate.

You may choose to use fewer trees and plants depending on your property size and budget. Design created by the SNWA Youth Advisory Council.
