Acacia Demonstration Gardens

The City of Henderson's Acacia Demonstration Gardens provides ideas for water-efficient landscaping.

Created through a cooperative partnership between the City of Henderson and the Conservation District of Southern Nevada, Acacia Demonstration Gardensthe Gardens features a variety of desert landscaping options on nearly 3 acres. Trails, kiosks and interpretive displays provide information about planting grass, water-efficient landscaping, irrigation systems and ways to conserve and avoid water waste.

The Acacia Demonstration Gardens offers workshops about landscaping and conservation and includes:

  • Cactus Garden
  • Outside Living and Entertaining Garden
  • Dry Wash Demonstration
  • Mediterranean Garden
  • Native Garden
  • Near Native Garden
  • Gardens for Small Yards
  • Wildlife Friendly Garden
  • Grass Demonstration Area
