Halloween has come and gone, the neighborhood kids have emptied out the candy bowls, and those carefully carved jack-o'-lanterns are starting to look a little saggy around the edges. Not sure what to do with those Halloween pumpkins?
Bring them to the Springs Preserve between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. from Nov. 1 through 22, and they’ll compost your pumpkins for free.
Composted pumpkins are used for environmentally friendly landscaping projects at the Springs Preserve. Just make sure you remove any candles and decorations.
Visit the Springs Preserve website or call (702) 822-7700 for more information.
