Protecting the Las Vegas Valley watershed and its quantity and quality of water resources is extemely important to local agencies. To this end, local water and wastewater agencies formed the Las Vegas Valley Watershed Advisory Committee (LVVWAC) in 2007 to coordinate Las Vegas Valley watershed management efforts. The commitee developed a Regional Water Quality Plan (PDF), which serves as a road map to coordinate these management efforts among the LVVWAC member agencies.
