The Clark, Lincoln and White Pine Counties Groundwater Development Project will consist of the construction and operation of groundwater production, conveyance and treatment facilities, as well as power conveyance facilities.
The proposed action includes the following facilities:
The proposed facilities are generally displayed on the Project Map. The proposed facilities will be located predominantly on public lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and primarily within designated utility corridors.
The main pipeline will begin in Spring Valley and extend south to the Las Vegas Valley. Three primary laterals will connect northern Spring, Snake and Cave valleys to the main pipeline. All pipelines will be buried.
Groundwater production wells, collector pipelines and related production facilities have yet to be determined. The rights-of-way for those facilities will be requested in the future and will be subject of separate environmental analysis and federal approvals.
